About us

Punjab Pedia™ · a publishing brand of Krishna Devi Publications, Sangrur

Our mission

Punjab has lakhs of hardworking aspirants preparing for government recruitment exams — PSSSB, PPSC, Patwari, Punjab Police and more. For most of them, clearing an exam means paying for coaching, because the books alone are never quite enough.

Punjab Pedia exists to change that. We publish material complete and reliable enough that a dedicated student can prepare entirely on their own and clear the exam through self-study — without depending on coaching. And because a large share of Punjab's aspirants studied in Punjabi medium, our books present content in English and Punjabi (Gurmukhi) together, so they can learn in the language they think in.

How our books are built

Every title is prepared from papers actually set by the agencies that conduct Punjab's recruitment exams. Topics that Punjab never asks are deliberately left out — an aspirant's time is the scarcest thing they have, and a book that pads its page count with irrelevant material is spending it for them.

What we publish

Our story

The first book was simply Punjab Pedia — a single volume on the general knowledge of Punjab, written without any intention of starting a brand. A question bank followed, then its Punjabi edition, Prashan Khazana. That is when the name took hold with aspirants across Punjab, and Punjab Pedia became a brand in its own right, now a registered trademark.

We have been writing for Punjab's aspirants since 2020, and we haven't stopped since — every year brings new editions, new data and new papers.

Where to find our books

Our books are available on Amazon.in and through selected bookshops and coaching institutes across Punjab. For bulk or institutional orders, see our contact page.
